Spring Color Trends for 2023: CORNFLOWER BLUE
This gorgeous medium blue hue is likely to be the most popular color on our Spring 2023 list. Not only is Blue recognized as the world’s favorite color on every poll we looked up (p.s… how does one get on the list for things like that?!) but also because Cornflower Blue appeals to our biophillic love of natural elements like the sea and the sky. Blue represents trust, stability, confidence, and tranquility. We are in love with Cornflower Blue this year (and prob forever) - it is such a fresh and current form of the most popular hue.

01 - @ashleymontgomerydesign showcases Cornflower Blue in this gorgeously designed bathroom and we cannot get enough of the color combo here!!! The blue tile is such a fresh contrast with the more vintage + muted design elements of the golden wallpaper, rustic floors, and deep burgundy vanity. It is a beautifully collected and eclectic space where every detail looks and feels intentional.
02 - We love the beautiful blue banquette seating in this kitchen nook designed by @misterandmrssharp! This is one of the most impactful ways to use color in any home renovation design - a gorgeously layered neutral base is the perfect backdrop for a really deliberate pop of color. We love how the subtle blue accent on the window shades pulls in the color of the seating, too.
03 - @ashleymontgomerydesign strikes again! How beautiful is this blue door? Especially in the context of the rich latte colored walls, fun tile flooring and colorful entry rug?! Also, because the color Blue implies tranquility and serenity, we can’t help but think it would be a great reminder of these feelings every time you leave or enter your home.
04 - This one is a little bit of a cheater because the stove here is technically more of a French Blue (smokey, grey toned) than a cornflower but we couldn’t NOT talk about this delicious kitchen designed by @morrison_interiors. The blonde wood, warm countertops and checkered backsplash allow the blue stove to be the star in this design and we are HERE. FOR. IT!
