Happy Leap Year, everyone! I am so happy we get an extra day in February this year - 2016 has gone by way too fast, so I'll take the extra time wherever I can get it!
Every four years February has 29 days instead of it's usual 28 in order to balance the calendar year with the lunar year. Although I wish we could treat Leap Day like a holiday and skip over Monday altogether, I am going to embrace the spirit of the day by leaping into this week with the most productive of intentions. I am also leaping into a few new projects (more to come on this soon!) and according to today's weather, San Francisco is officially leaping into Spring!
Speaking of Spring... the Pantone colors of 2016 are SO.SPRING. A huge departure from last year's rich Marsala, 2016's Rose Quartz and Serenity are super pastel baby pink and blue hues:
I was honestly a bit surprised when the colors were announced this year because first of all, there are two (!) and secondly, baby blue and light pink can go pretty young if not used in the right way. But I am all about it now and I think you should be too - here is some inspiration, tips and hints for making the most of these Springy colors!
Rose Quartz and Serenity FTW:
Are you all ready to leap into Spring? What do you think of the Pantone colors this year?
